C2S Consulting led the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM at a world-class resort in La Romana, Dominican Republic.
The project encompassed over 400 users and an infrastructure of 8,000+ hectares, including a +250 room hotel, +100 villas, +60 entertainment centers, 3 golf courses, +10 restaurants and +50 stores.
Within 12 months, key modules such as Fixed Assets, General Ledger, AP, AR, Purchasing, Inventory and Costs, Cash Management, Budget, Plant Maintenance and Project Control were implemented, along with IDR and Autonomous Database. 20 integrations with more than 6 systems, including Oracle Simphony, Oracle Opera, payroll and local banks.
Complementary solutions are currently being deployed to consolidate a robust and scalable technological platform for the resort’s operation.
The resort in La Romana faced the challenge of modernizing and unifying its technology ecosystem to support highly diversified operations in an infrastructure of more than 8,000 hectares. ⢠Ensure seamless integration with critical systems such as Oracle Simphony, Opera, payroll and local banks.
⢠Implement a scalable solution that would allow for future growth and advanced analytics.
⢠The challenge was not only technological, but also organizational: it required aligning multiple business units, standardizing processes and training a diverse team in new digital tools.
The main objective of the project was to digitally transform the resort’s operation, enabling a modern, scalable and fully integrated technology platform. Specific objectives included:
C2S Consulting designed and implemented a comprehensive solution based on Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM, tailored to the operational complexities of the resort. The approach focused on:
1. modular and tiered implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP, including: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Purchasing, Inventory and Costs, Cash Management and Budgeting, Plant Maintenance and Project Control, Oracle EPM deployment for advanced financial and budget planning.
2. Integration of more than 6 key systems, including:
Oracle Simphony (point of sale), Oracle Opera (hotel management), Payroll and local banking systems, Implementation of IDR (Intelligent Document Recognition) and Autonomous Database to automate data capture and improve analytics.
3. Intensive training and change management, ensuring effective adoption by more than 400 users.
4. Development of custom integrations to ensure interoperability between Oracle Cloud and existing systems.
